Effective Date: August 8, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to the online store operated by Paper & Objects.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online store, products, checkout functions, content, customer support and other related services, collectively referred to as the “Services.”
Throughout these Terms, the words “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Paper & Objects” refer to Paper & Objects.
By visiting our online store, placing an order, creating a customer account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and other policies published through our store.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any mandatory consumer right available to you under applicable Danish, German, European Union or European Economic Area consumer protection law.
2. Company Information
The Services are provided by:
Company Name: Paper & Objects
CVR Number: 33733283
Business Type: Sole Proprietorship
Responsible Person: Julie Sommer Hansen
Registered Address: Ny Havnegade 79, 8700 Horsens, Denmark
Email: hello@paperandobjects.com
Telephone: 53537541
Our online store is operated using Shopify, which provides the technical e-commerce infrastructure used to make the Services available.
Shopify is not the seller of the products offered through our store. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases are made directly from Paper & Objects.
3. Eligibility to Use the Services
You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
If you have not reached the legal age required to enter into a purchase agreement independently, you may use the Services only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
4. Customer Accounts
Certain functions may allow or require you to create a customer account.
You are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.
You are also responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us promptly at hello@paperandobjects.com.
We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material violation of these Terms.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, availability and prices displayed through the Services are accurate.
However, the appearance of a product may vary slightly from images displayed online due to factors such as screen settings, photography, lighting conditions, manufacturing variations or product updates.
Product images are provided for illustrative and reference purposes.
Where a product is materially different from its description, defective or otherwise non-conforming, your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
We may update or correct product information where necessary.
6. Product Availability
All products are offered subject to availability.
Adding a product to a shopping cart does not reserve the product or guarantee that it will remain available.
If a product becomes unavailable after you submit an order, we may contact you to offer an alternative, cancel the affected item or refund any amount already paid for the unavailable product.
7. Placing an Order
Submitting an order through our online store constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order confirmation normally confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
A binding purchase agreement is normally formed when we expressly accept the order, confirm dispatch or otherwise confirm that the order has been accepted.
Please review your order details carefully before completing your purchase.
Once an order has entered processing or fulfilment, we may not always be able to accept voluntary changes or cancellations.
This does not affect any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights available to consumers.
8. Order Refusal or Cancellation
We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, incorrect billing or delivery details are supplied, fraudulent activity is suspected, an obvious pricing or product error has occurred, delivery to the supplied address is unavailable, or processing the order would violate applicable law.
Where payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded using the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by law.
9. Prices
The price payable for a product will normally be the price displayed when the order is submitted.
Prices and promotional offers may change from time to time.
A subsequent price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.
Where an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before processing the order and provide the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected item.
Nothing in this section limits your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Taxes and Additional Charges
Applicable taxes, delivery charges or other mandatory charges will be displayed during the ordering process where required by law.
Customers will be given the opportunity to review the total amount payable before submitting an order.
We will not intentionally impose undisclosed mandatory charges after an order has been completed.
11. Payment
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.
By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Payments may be processed by Shopify, banks, card networks, payment gateways or other independent payment service providers.
The payment methods available to you may depend on your location, currency, order value and the options displayed during checkout.
We may delay or cancel an order if a payment cannot be verified or authorized.
12. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery are governed by our separate Shipping Policy.
Any delivery dates or delivery periods displayed through the Services are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.
Delivery may be affected by carrier disruptions, incorrect address information, severe weather, public holidays, transportation problems or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.
For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage generally passes to the customer when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, subject to applicable law.
13. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing eligible products online in Germany and elsewhere in the European Union or European Economic Area generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.
After notifying us, the goods must be returned within the applicable statutory period.
For further details, including return conditions, return shipping costs and exceptions to the withdrawal right, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy.
Under the return framework we have adopted, the consumer bears the direct return costs for an ordinary statutory withdrawal, while reasonable return costs caused by defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products are borne or reimbursed by Paper & Objects. This follows the structure used in the reference policy you provided.
14. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Where a consumer validly exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, reimbursement will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the decision to withdraw, subject to the conditions permitted by law.
For physical goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or until the customer provides acceptable evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
The reference policy you supplied uses the same statutory refund structure.
15. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, incomplete or otherwise does not conform to the purchase agreement, please contact us promptly.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, delivery of missing components, a price reduction, return or refund.
Your statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming products are separate from, and are not limited by, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
16. Intellectual Property
The Services and their content may be protected by intellectual property laws.
This may include our business name, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, videos, text, designs, logos, website layouts, software and other original materials.
Unless otherwise stated, such content is owned by Paper & Objects, Shopify, our licensors or other applicable rights holders.
You may use the Services for personal and lawful purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, modify, distribute or use protected content in a misleading manner without appropriate authorization.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property rights to the customer.
17. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content
Where the Services allow customers to submit reviews, comments, photographs, videos or other content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.
You confirm that you own or have permission to submit such content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
By submitting content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, adapt and publish that content for legitimate purposes connected with operating, improving and promoting the Services.
You retain ownership of your original content.
We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or otherwise violates these Terms.
18. Third-Party Services
The Services may include functions, integrations, payment services or other tools provided by third parties.
We do not necessarily own or control those independent services.
Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paper & Objects is not responsible for losses caused solely by independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
19. Third-Party Links
Our online store may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
The inclusion of a link does not necessarily mean that we endorse or control the third-party service.
When you visit an external website, the terms and privacy practices of that third party may apply.
Transactions completed directly with an independent third party are generally between you and that third party.
20. Privacy
Personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained and protected and describes the privacy rights available to customers under applicable law.
Because Shopify provides the technical platform for our online store, Shopify and other service providers may also process certain information necessary to provide their services.
21. Errors and Corrections
Information displayed through the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccurate product information, incorrect prices, availability errors or other mistakes.
We may correct such information when an error is identified.
If an error materially affects an order, we may contact you and offer an appropriate solution, including proceeding with corrected information or cancelling the affected item and issuing an appropriate refund.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
22. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes, violate applicable laws or the rights of others, provide deliberately false information, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, distribute malicious software, interfere with website security or performance, unlawfully collect personal information, circumvent security measures or commercially exploit protected Services without authorization.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the Services or our legal rights.
23. Availability of the Services
We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability, accuracy and security of the Services.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption, temporary technical problems or maintenance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory statutory rights relating to products, product conformity or consumer protection.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paper & Objects will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the relevant agreement was entered into.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory product liability or violation of non-waivable consumer rights.
25. Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, war, government restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, telecommunications failures, power outages or significant failures of third-party infrastructure.
Where such circumstances affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimize the disruption.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
26. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security risks or legal requirements.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
28. No Waiver
If we delay or fail to enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
Any waiver applies only to the specific circumstance for which it was given.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and other policies incorporated by reference constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases made through our store.
Nothing in this provision excludes statements or information that legally form part of a consumer purchase agreement.
30. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms and purchases made from Paper & Objects are generally governed by the laws applicable to Paper & Objects in Denmark.
However, if you are a consumer residing in Germany or another European Union or European Economic Area country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive the right to bring a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
We encourage customers to contact us first where a dispute arises so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter directly.
31. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business operations, technology, legal requirements or other legitimate operational reasons.
The latest version will be published through our online store together with its updated effective date.
Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights associated with purchases already completed, except where permitted by law.
